Cotswold Farm Park

Cotswold Farm Park

The Cotswold Farm Park was established in the 1960s to protect and conserve rare breeds of farm animals and was opened to the public in 1971. Several rare breeds have been saved from extinction and the park looks after over 50 flocks and herds of British rare breed farm animals.

The park is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is run by Adam Henson, one of BBC's 'Countryfile' presenters.

A very hand-cleaning and biological fun day out!

Activites include

  • feeding the animals (lots of them!)

  • wildlife walk

  • lambing and lamb feeding (in spring)

  • sheep shearing and other demonstrations

  • conservation education

  • adventure playground

  • cafeteria

  • shop
